<p>The process comprises continuous prodn. of intermediates for the organic synthesis industry. A mixt. of phenol and 1-4C alcohols contg. the recirculated corresponding amine cpds. is reacted in the presence of hydrogen and ammonia. The reaction gives in a single step both N-alkylates and cyclohexamines.</p>
