<p>PURPOSE:To uniformize the load of each link and to prevent production of a link block by sharing an inputted packet to each link with a substantially uniform probability to a decentralized network and inputting the result to a sorting network. CONSTITUTION:A packet switch network 1 consists of a decentralized network 200 accommodating plural (N) incoming lines 261-26N and a routing network 201 accommodating plural (N) outgoing lines 271-27N. Then the decentralized network 200 of the pre-stage distributes an input packet from the incoming line to a different output terminal independently of the destination and transfers it synchronizingly. The routing network 201 of the post-stage transfers the packet from the decentralized network 200 to the destination outgoing line. Since the transfer route of the packet of each network differs, the ring block is decreased and the operating efficiency of the switch is improved.</p> |
