PURPOSE: To link the symbol of an electronic part with optional one of plural graphic route models by linking a model coupler provided within a linking page to a model, linking the symbol to the linking page and linking the symbol to the previously fixed one of the model coupler. CONSTITUTION: The linking page 404 forming a part of a parts symbol defines all the tools and models capable of linking the symbol. For example, the symbol can be linked to two tools A406 and B 408. Within the tool A406, this symbol can be linked to two model types Al and A2 and this symbol is presently linked to a model A1-74LS×××through a model type parameter 406 and the model coupler 410. Both of the model type and the coupler form a link between the symbol 402 and plural models 422 and 426, thereby linking the symbol of the electronic parts with optional one of the plural circuit models.
