The device is supported by a slide 43 which can be moved across a surface 19 on which the material web 18 with its cut-out parts is laid, the slide being controlled from a computerized control unit into which data is input for location of the parts. The pick-up device comprises a first, lower finger 59 and a second, upper finger 60 which can be moved relative to the first finger. The surface 19 for the material web 18 is made of an elastically compressible material so that the lower finger 59 can be driven down under the plane of the surface, by compression of this material, and introduced under the cut-out part. By moving the device in the direction away from the material web, this part is lifted up, and at the same time it is gripped securely by means of the two fingers being driven against each other. <IMAGE> |
