PURPOSE:To obtain an inexpensive practical sleeping judging apparatus requiring no complicated signal processing by mounting a sleeping judging means judging that a human body is in a sleeping state when the output from a stay-in-bed judging means continues for a definite time or more. CONSTITUTION:When a piezoelectric element 4a receives deformation by body motion, voltage is generated from the piezoelectric element 4a and a component of 1-10Hz is passed through a low-pass filter 7 to be amplified by an amplifier 8 and rectified by a rectifier 9 to be integrated by an integrator 10. The first comparator 11 judges that a human body is in a quiet state when the output from the integrator 10 is within a definite range to issue output and, in a sleeping judging means 12, a timer performs clocking operation when there is output from the first comparator 11 and the clocking operation of the timer 13 is stopped when there is no output and the timer 13 is reset and the second comparator 14 judges that the human body is in a sleeping state when the time (t) clocked by the timer 13 reaches a predetermined time to or more. Therefore, it is unnecessary to perform complicated and expensive signal processing and a sleeping state can be judged in low cost in a practical form. |
