PURPOSE:To suppress system-down attended with data error at a minimum by continuing the transmission/reception of data in temporary error and executing an error processing only when a dual port memory really breaks down. CONSTITUTION:When the error of data is detected while transmitting/receiving the data through dual port memories 10 and 11 between digital processors, MPU 21 and 31 returns the data generating the error to a transfer destination and at the transfer destination, a part generating the data error is specified by comparing the returned data with transmission data. Only when the data error is generated again at the same spot while transmitting/receiving the data again, it is decided the error is caused by the fault of the dual port memories 10 and 11, and the error processing is executed for shutting-off the system. Thus, even when the temporary error is generated while exchanging the data, the system is not immediately shut-off but is shut-off only when the dual port memories 10 and 11 really break down, and therefore, the system-down attended with the faults of the dual port memories 10 and 11 can be suppressed at a minimum. |
