<p>This invention concerns a control for letting a constant flow of liquidthrough, provided with means for keeping the flow constant above a thresholdof the pressure placed on the control and for the closure of the flow ofliquid in the case of the threshold of the control falling below the pressureset on the control. On closing the water inlet and the reduction of thepressure exercised within the system to zero the water will have the tendencyto flow to the lowest point. Through the measures above the regulatorycontrol will not let the water present in the tubes run out in such asituation despite the fact that the lowest-lying controls will be subject tohydrostatic pressure. In this way a constant distribution of the irrigationwater supplied is attained. Preferably such a control will include: a valvefitted into a valve casing; a chamber formed on the inlet side of the valve;a chamber formed on the outlet side of the valve; a channel connecting bothchambers with a fixed flow resistance.</p> |
