PURPOSE:To diagnose abnormality inclusive of a signal transmission cable and a signal amplifier by extracting the amplitude of the spectrum at the time of the generation of abnormality contained in the vibration signal detected by one set of vibration detection mechanisms and catching the change with that at a normal time. CONSTITUTION:A vibration time series waveform is obtained by the vibration detector consisting of the vibration detection sensor 2, vibration amplifier 3 and analogue signal processor 4 connected by signal transmission cables 1 and analyzed by a frequency analyser 5 to obtain spectrum data. This data is compared with the data obtained by the same analysis when a vibration detection mechanism is normal and abnormality is diagnosed inclusive of the signal transmission cables 1 and a signal amplifier. For example, in the case of the fixing inferiority of the cables, the amplitude of the spectrum within a low frequency region of below 3Hz increases. Abnormality such as earth inferiority, the connection inferiority of the cables, disconnection or insulation inferiority can be detected by the increase of the spectrum corresponding to the frequency of a power supply. |
