PURPOSE: To compensate for both transient effect and voltage-variation effect by a constitution, which is formed of the basic component whose time width is determined by the predetermined weight scale and the increment added to the respective basic component and wherein the energy output is proportional to the total sum of the basic components of the time widths in which the energy source is excited. CONSTITUTION: A basic pulse-length generator 42 is provided, in synchronization with a bit slicer 38. The generator generates the digital values, indicating the pulse lines of the hour units of 1, 2, 4, 6, 16, 32, 64 and 128 hours. These values are generated in synchronization with the advance from the lowest bit and the highest bit of the word for defining the light exposure time requested to an LED with by the bit slicer. The value is supplied to a compensating-pulse- length generator 44. The generator generates a strobe pulse S, wherein the basic component time is corrected with time increment, depending on the number of diodes which become conducting at an arbitrary bit slice. |
