This method consists in affixing to the container a microprocessor which comprises a memory, in inputting data into the said memory and in reading the said data contained in the memory, in inputting into the said memory the desired data relating to the container and in reading the said data during the emptying of the rubbish into the skip which collects it or during an individual inspection of the containers and in sending the said data to a central memory making it possible to carry out the management of the container park.
