LIGHT-EMITTING ELEMENT ARRAY

PURPOSE:To form the gate potential distribution of a triode thyristor without depending on a gate current by a method wherein a coupling element in which a drop voltage at an electric means becomes definite without depending on an electric current amount in any direction flowing in the electric means is used as the electric means. CONSTITUTION:Light-emitting thyristors T(-2) to T(3) are arranged in a row; individual gate electrodes G-2 to G-3 installed at the individual light-emitting thyristors T(-2) to T(3) are connected in such a way that, e.g. the light-emitting thyristors T(0) and T(1) are connected by using a diode E1 and a diode D0 in opposite directions so as to conduct an electrical mutual action individually by diodes D-2 to D3 in the negative direction and by diodes E-1 to E4 in the positive direction. The individual gate electrodes are connected to a gate-voltage feed power supply Vgk via individual load resistances RL; any one of three transfer clock lines is connected to anode electrodes of the individual light- emitting thyristors in the lengthwise direction by repeating phi1, phi2 and phi3.
