PURPOSE:To control effective power with high speed and to suppress imbalance by correcting a speed command value or a torque component current command value upon deviation of the system frequency from a target value. CONSTITUTION:When the system frequency (f) exceeds a target value fR due to imbalance of a power system, an output from a frequency correction signal operating section 206 is added to or subtracted from a target speed value omegaR fed from a function generator 203A in a frequency control section 203 thus producing a speed command value omega*. In order to increase the output from a differentiator 203B, i.e., a rotational speed omega, a control section 203D reduces the secondary current torque component current command Iq* of a wound-rotor induction motor. Consequently, effective power decreases to contribute for the reduction of total power generation of a power system. Since delay of response of the rotational speed omega to the variation of the torque component current command Iq* is small, high speed control is realized. |
