PURPOSE:To form the best image without fogging by starting forming an image after an electrostatic charging means is actuated to rotate the photosensitive drum before starting forming the image. CONSTITUTION:In the case of starting forming the image from a standby-state, the photosensitive drum 1 is rotated once or more times in a state where an electrostatic charging means 4 and a light radiating means 3 are actuated so as to increase the surface potential to get an ordinary image forming state, then forming the image is started. Before starting forming the image, the photosensitive drum 1 is idly rotated by actuating the means 4 and the means 3, so that the surface potential of the photosensitive drum 1 is made in the ordinary image forming state and the best image without 'fogging' is formed. |
