<p>Compounds of formula (I), wherein R<1> and R<2> together represent two vicinal hydrogen atoms, or form a second bond between the vicinal carbon atoms to which they are attached; R<3> represents H, OH, alkoxy or protected hydroxy; R<4> represents OH; R<5> represents H, alkyl or alkenyl; R<6> and R<7> independently represent O, (H,OH), (H,protected hydroxy) or (H,alkoxy); X and Y independently represent O, (H,OH) or (H,H); n is 1 or 2; or pharmaceutically acceptable derivatives thereof; are provided for the treatment of reversible obstructive airways disease, particularly asthma. Compositions containing such compounds are also disclosed.</p> |
