The coating is pasted on crucibles, intended for melting and conservation of aluminum alloys, which are used in moulding. It is chemically resistant to the impact of the aluminum melt and is wetted less than the than the melt, forms a strong, compact, well-fitted to the crucible coating. At thermocyclical loads, it does not crunch or crack, while the coating is lasting longer. The coating for crucibles contains in weight%: SHAMOT 28-35, asbestos 7-12, fluorides of alkalic and alkaloground element 7-12, dichromic trioxide 2-4, silver graphite 3-4, carbamide - 3-4, water glass 24-28, water - the remaining parts to 100. Fluorides of the alkaline and alkaloid elements are cryolite, kalium fluoride, sodium fluoride, calcium fluoride or sodium silicofluoride, taken separately or in a combination.
