MAGNETIC FIELD GENERATING APPARATUS FOR UNDERGROUND JOINING

PURPOSE:To form magnetic fields in two directions by only one rectangular loop and to prevent generation of irregularity of the magnetic field by providing the rectangular loop on a supporting stage and rotating the loop every 90 deg. by a motor. CONSTITUTION:A motor 51 is provided behind the front face 1a1 of a shielding machine. A supporting stage 52 is provided at an end of a driving shaft of the motor 51. A rectangular loop is formed on the supporting stage 52 by a magnetic field indication cable 53. When the motor 51 is rotated every 90 deg. and stopped by a control means, there are formed magnetic fields in the horizon tal and vertical directions. Accordingly, it is possible to form magnetic fields in two directions within the same plane by one rectangular loop.
