The invention relates to building materials for traffic surfaces and foundations using products arising in industry. The proposed building materials are particularly suitable for base layers and load-bearing surfacing of traffic surfaces, but also for foundations of other building structures. The invention comprises new formulations in which from 72 to 96% by mass of Bessemer converter slag and from 4 to 28% by mass of defined finely granulated materials arising in steelworks and power stations are mixed. The direct technical effects found for these new mineral building materials, especially without use of synthetic hydraulic binders, are excellent structural and strength development in the course of static and dynamic loading of the corresponding structural objects and also, under road conditions as a result of initial hydration and kinetic stability, physical parameters which make possible immediate utilization.
