发明名称 SUBLIMATION TYPE THERMAL TRANSFER MATERIAL
摘要 PURPOSE:To prevent the generation of non-uniformity such as missing dots or density irregularity by using a resin whose elongatin is a specific value or more as the binder having a sublimable dye dispersed therein constituting the ink layer on a substrate. CONSTITUTION:An ink layer wherein a sublimable dye is dispersed in a resin whose elongation prescribed by JIS-K-6301 is 50% or more being a binder is provided. The above mentioned resin can be used alone or in a mixed form but, considering heat resistance and the adhesive strength to a base film, an urethane acrylate type ultraviolet curable resin is especially pref. The sublimable dye is one sublimed or evaporated at 60 deg.C or higher and any one used in the field of thermal transfer recording such as a disperse dye or an oil-soluble dye may be employed and this dye is used alone or in a mixed form. By this method, the adhesion irregularity of the ink layer and an image receiving layer can be prevented even in a low density part and the lowering of image quality due to the missing dots or density irregularity of a printed image can be eliminated.
