PURPOSE: To reduce the helmet weight by constituting a 1st lens means that has two light I/Os and an optical axis, a 2nd lens means that has two light I/Os and an optical axis, two deflection planes that can separately vibrate around the two axes and an optical system means. CONSTITUTION: This device consists of fiber support means 12 and 13, lens means 14 and 16, a horizontal scanning means 18 that includes a horizontal scanning mirror means 19, a vertical scanning means 20 that includes a vertical scanning mirror means 21 and back side projecting screen means 22 and 24. An entire color image is formed on the screen 24 by utilizing emission of light from the end of the fiber 10 and also, an entire color image is formed on the screen 24 by utilizing emission of light from the end of the fiber 11. The images on the screens 22 and 24 have correlativity, each image is finally supplied to each eye of an observer who wears a helmet 60 and in this way, stereoscopic vision is created. By this, a self-contained light helmet mounted display device is acquired. |
