Described is a dispenser (1) for inhalation purposes, with a dispenser unit (3), a fluid pump and an air pump. The two pumps are operated by an energy accumulator (12) which is tensioned by a tensioning device (10) and triggered by a triggering device (11) in such a way that all the pumping work is performed by the energy accumulator (12). The invention makes it possible to dispense individual doses of relatively large volume very simply without using a propellant.
