<p>The invention relates to crosslinked oriented high molecular weight polyethylene, containing up to 30 % (wt) crosslinked poly-1,4-butadiene. The poly-1,4-butadiene preferably consists for at least 90 % (mole) of poly-trans-1,4-butadiene. The invention also relates to a process for preparing articles from such polyethylene.</p> |
