A first time, T1, is started by switching on a temp.-dependent switch (S1). The latter is brought to its switch off temp. by heating of the coupling material (C) by a heater (H1). T1 is thus established as the start of the heating from the heater to the switching off. The switch (S1) interrupts the power supply to the heater. The coupling material cools at a rate determined by the heat insulation (D) and thus the chemically coupled switch (S1). Upon reaching its switch on temp. the latter switches the heater on again and starts the same process to establish a time, T2, from switch off of S1 to its switch on.
