The flap is secured to a shaft carrying a radial arm (3) on which a switch (4) is mounted with contacts on either side, and secured by a rivet (9) to a surface (8) of a horizontal limb (7). A cylindrical plastic peg (10) protrudes through an open-ended slot (11) in this limb (7) to engage fluted surfaces (12,13) of the arm (3) on both sides of the slot. The limb (7) and its surface (8) are gripped by the ends (13,14) of the switch (4). ADVANTAGE - Switch can be adjusted and fixed reliably without risk of unintentionally loosened parts falling into it.
