The square guideway tyre testing machine has an endless belt threaded around at least two rollers. A load carrier between the rollers supports the belt in the tyre contact region. A drive is provided for the endless belt. The load carrier is formed as a support wheel (1) against whose circumference the endless belt (2) lies.
