The safety belt clamp has two clamping cheeks movably mounted on a housing frame between which the belt is led. One cheek acts as a pressure clamping cheek about a swivel axis. The other cheek is formed as a counterpressure clamping cheek. The counterpressure cheek (5) is displaceably supported about a second swivel axis (9) and has a curved guide (10). ADVANTAGE - Belt clamp which ensures a uniform clamping action along the whole of the adjustment path.
