<p>An electrolyzer outfit for percolation-treating a solution for a chemical reaction, such as the cathodic reduction of a metal cation, is described. This outfit includes, for example, a cathodically polarized particle bed (31), a plurality of anodically polarized counter-electrodes (33) arranged around the edge of the particle bed, and an additional anodically polarized counter-electrode (38) placed in the middle of said bed. This arrangement allows the electrode potential within the bed to be altered in order to prevent parasitic chemical reactions.</p> |
