The covers are made of a non-woven or a knitted or woven fabric and joined by a layer of wadding. Each covering side is needled to the wadding layer and the needlings of both sides are dislocated in relation to each other in a whistle arrangement. The needling takes place in lines and in a whistle arrangement in such a way that the wadding layer is needled with only aone covering side at a time. As a result, a covering side extends between two associated needling areas across an additional needling area, in which the wadding layer is needled with the other layer.
