PURPOSE:The titled smearing apparatus, equipped with a vibrating trough having a food on a powdery or granular material moving from one end to the other, weir crossing the flow direction of the powdery or granular material provided in the above-mentioned trough and vibrating device for the vibrating trough and capable of smearing the food surface with the powdery or granular material for massproduction. CONSTITUTION:A vibrating trough 1 is vibrated to a discharge outlet on the other end by a vibrating device 3. Thus, a food 9 is moved to the side of the other end while rolled, and a powdery or granular material 10 is also moved to the discharge outlet of the other end along the surface of the trough 1. However, the food 9 and powdery or granular material 10 are temporarily stopped at a weir 2, and the food 9 is made to stay there while rotated. The powdery or granular material 10 is also made to stay at the weir 2. As a result, the surface of the food 9 is uniformly and well smeared with the powdery or granular material 10. When the surface of the food 9 is smeared therewith to some extent, the resistance of the surface of the food 9 is reduced, and the food 9 is pushed by the succeeding food 9 to go over the weir 2. The food 9 is successively moved to the discharge outlet of the other end while smeared with the powdery or granular material 10 and discharged in the state of the surface thereof smeared with the powdery or granular material 10. |
