The clamping bush, for bearings, has a wedgeable protuberance (3) or recess (4) interlocking and wedged together on the facing lengthwise edges (1) of the slot (2) in the bushing. The wedge angle of the wedge surfaces (5,6) brought into contact with one another is larger than the automatic locking angle. The protuberances or recesses are symmetrical with the centre intersecting plane (7) of the bushing. USE/ADVANTAGE - The clamping bushing possesses higher initial stressing forces and is cheap to produce.
