Soil specimen extraction arrangement - has hollow tube mounted on jib attached to rail linked to tractor hydraulic mechanism

The arrangement extracts earth samples and has a tubular receiving housing which is driven vertically into the ground and has a central aperture which accepts earth as the housing moves through it. The hollow tubular housing (10) is attached to a jib (B) which is mounted on a rail (4) mounted bewteen the two lower hydraulic linkages (1,2) of an agricultural tractor and linked to the upper hydraulic linkage (7) via a distance piece (5). USE/ADVANTAGE - Enables rapid, labour saving acquisition of earth specimens.
