PURPOSE:To form a foamed object enfolded by skin material by vacuum forming skin material into a nearly convex section, making the top peripheral diameter of protrusion somewhat larger and forming integrally the skin material together with raw foaming liquid. CONSTITUTION:Skin material 5 is beforehand vacuum formed into a nearly convex section having a somewhat larger diameter of the top periphery 11 of protrusion 9. Thus formed skin material 5 is integrally formed together with raw liquid of the foamed object 4 by a nearly convex sectional lower mold 7 and a planar upper mold 8. After forming, the top of protrusion 9 is removed from the periphery 11, the product of which the skin material 5 enfolds the foamed object 4 at the opening part 1, then peeling of the skin material 5 is prevented (e.g., register attachment part of the safty pad of the automobile instrument panel) is obtained. |
