<p>A method for providing each of the shoes (or similar) worn by a user with a protective covering. According to the method, said covering is produced in the place where it is to be used and directly on the user by performing at least a combination of the following steps: forming an open, U-shaped shell from a flat sheet (3); placing the user's foot with shoe inside said shell; and closing the shell along two continuous lines which substantially cover the mid-plane of the U formed by the shell, with one line covering the front of the foot and running upwards along the user's leg while the other, at the back of the heel, also runs upwards to a set height on the user's leg.</p> |
