The prefabricated grid is particularly comprising sideplates and bars, the former drilled for securing to risers. The side plates (2) are in one piece and bent over inwards at the top, and have slots (5) accommodating the bars (3) at regular intervals. The plate portion joined to the entry profile (1) extends straight upwards from the bottom. USE/ADVANTAGE - For use as the step of a steel staircase is produced by simple production machine and is economical on material.
