The testing appts. has a point or tubular radiation source (2), esp. a xenor source, with a cylindrical filter (1) enclosing its piston at a distance. The filter passes visible and ultraviolet components and selectively reflects infrared components of the light from the source. A flat infrared absorbent surface (5) is mounted inside the filter with its plane in the direction of the filter axis (4). The source (2) is mounted off the filter axis. The centre of the point source or the axis (3) of the tubular source (2) lies in its the plane of the surface. This plane passes through the axis and the absorbent surface extends from the inner surface of the filter to the source.
