PURPOSE:To prevent a used card from being used illegally in a card whose display rewriting can be executed by executing rewriting of a display of the card and a breakdown of a display function by erasure of the display by heating of a heating erasure mechanism and write of the display by heating of a heating write mechanism. CONSTITUTION:As for a prepaid card 1, a rewritable display layer 3 consisting of a heat reversible material is provided on one side on a substrate 2 of the surface side, a colored layer 4 is provided on the substrate 2 on which the display layer 3 does not exist, a transparent overcoat layer 5 for protecting the card is provided continuously on the display layer 3 and the colored layer 4, and on the reverse side, a magnetic layer 6 on which the amount of money and the frequency are written is provided. The display layer 3 becomes transparent, when an organic low molecular substance in a resin part is heated and a particle becomes a comparatively large single crystal, becomes a nebulous state, and when it is cooled and becomes a polycrystal, and it is maintained in the state at a room temperature, but it does not return, when it is heated to the maximum nebulous state. Accordingly, by heating and cooling, erasure of the display and write of the display can be executed, and the display function of the display layer can be broken down by a heating breakdown mechanism. In such a way, illegal use of the used card is prevented. |
