The circuit has the input signal supplied to an amplifier with controlled feedback its output fed to a voltage divider with a frequency-dependent characteristic. The voltage divider has a number of tap-off points (9. 13; 31...35) coupled to the inverting input of the amplifier via a first switch (8) and to the circuit output via a second switch (30). The 2 switches (8, 30) are electronically controlled in dependence on one another and pref. comprise semiconductor switches controlled via digital data words.
