Articles are produced in which parts are made of injection moulded material. During the injection moulding process pressure-compensating parts also are formed, and these are removed from the prods. after moulding. ADVANTAGE - In the process even bulky members can be encapsulated in moulded material without damage to those members (in contrast with existing similar processes). In an example a magnetic cylinder has round plastic end discs with slots and a coaxial centre shaft in a cylinder which has three radial ribs to fix the cylinder to the shaft. The intermediate spaces between the ribs extend along the shaft length.
