The syphon angle has a vertical arm (3) connected to the outflow pipe system (1) on the inside of the building wall (2), and a horizontal arm (4) pointing outwards horizontally from the wall for the subsequent connection of the so-called syphon final bend. The horizontal arm (4) has in every case an overlength (4a= Lo -L1) which is only cut to the correct length after plastering and surface finishing work has been completed. A sealing nipple (5) is inserted in the connecting aperture (4b) of the connecting arm (4), and has a support lip (5a) which engages around the horizontal arm (4) residual length (a). USE - A plastics syphon angle for incorporation in sanitary fittings in new buildings.
