A controller for a waste water system drives control elements fitted to each of a number of delivery devices, each with an inaccessible measurement point in its outlet channel feeding a reservoir. Each delivery device has an equipment parameter measurement device connected to the central controller. A flow measurement device (13) connected to the central controller (1) can be applied to all measurement points (7) in succession using a probe (14). A processor (3) in the central controller stores the relationship between the equipment parameter and flow rate for each delivery device (22-24). Each equipment parameter controller (5) has an associated flow rate scale (6).
