The circuit for measuring the parameter influencing the capacitance-voltage characteristic of a capacitive element (C5) contains a first voltage source (V5) connected to the capacitance element to produce a first periodic voltage of defined amplitude. An integrator (OPV,Cf) integrates the capacitive element's output current at least over par tof the period of the first voltage. The measurement parameter is derived from the integration value. The capacitive element is a semiconducting element and the influencing parameter is the ion conc. in liquids.
