In a machine for working shoes including a plurality of arranging members for at least one object to be worked, the apparatus includes a camera for detecting the shape and position of the object, a computer connected to the camera and adapted to process and store the shape and the position of the object, a PLC system controlled by the computer for actuating the arranging members. The computer controls the arranging members for arranging the object according to a stored position; the camera is adapted to provide the computer with the position of the object, and the computer is adapted to compare the detected position with the stored position, if the detected position does not correspond to the stored position, the computer actuates the arranging members for arranging the object according to the stored position.
