The effectiveness of the lubrication system of a Stirling engine (22) is maintained in a solar dish module (4) for all directions of aiming of the dish (6) by the journal mounting of the engine (22) on the dish module (4) with the center of gravity of the journaled mass eccentric to the journal axis (34) along a particular radial. The engine (22) has a sump (70) which is disposed at a low point of the engine (22). The center of gravity of the journaled mass lies along a radial from the journal axis (34) which intersects the sump (70). An additional counterweight (72) is added to achieve the desired eccentricity.
