PURPOSE:To permit a continuous pre-teartment processing and contrive the automation of an analyzing system by a method wherein the successive attachment and detachment of sample containers to a centrifugal separation device is made possible without interrupting the centrifugal action. CONSTITUTION:A centrifugal separation shaft 1 has at both the end parts thereof a diameter so small as to permit the shaft to be loosely passed through rings 11a and at an intermediate part 1' thereof a diameter so large as to permit the shaft to be closely passed through the rings 11a, and an adaptor 11 and a sample container 12 are adapted to be rotated with the 4 shaft 1 at the intermediate part 1' thereof via the rings 11a. On the other hand, mechanisms 16 and 28 are provided to permit the adaptor ring 11a to be engaged with and disengaged from the shaft 1 at both the end parts thereof. In the centrifugal separation process, the ring 11a is engaged with the one end of the shaft 1 and the adaptor 11 is then attached thereto while allowing the shaft 1 to rotate, so that the adaptor 11 is connected with the sample container 12. The ring 11a is given an impellent force by using a propulsion mechanism 30 so as to be sent to the other end D of the shaft while the adaptor 11 and the container 12 are being rotated at the intermediate part 1' thereof. The ring 11a is removed from the end B of the shaft 1. |
