An apparatus has been devised to continuously generate a constant or other desired dopant level into a gas stream of varying flow rate and composition. A dopant is entrained into a process gas forming a gaseous mixture, the concentration of the dopant in the gaseous mixture is measured, and the flow rate of the dopant is adjusted as a function of the measurement until the desired final dopant concentration is established. <IMAGE>
