PURPOSE: To provide a tub device which is low-priced and lightweighted to be handled conveniently by storing a liquid in the interior having a molded plastic wall, holding down the internal pressure of the stored liquid by a tension liner adjacent to the sidewall, fitting a boat extended through the sidewall and the liner, and circulating a liquid between the inner and outer parts. CONSTITUTION: A device 10 includes a tub 11 having a tubular sidewall 12 and a bottom wall 13, wherein the sidewall 12 has a cellular plastic sheet 14 for forming a double layer, and the double layer is formed by pressure bonding a glass fiber reinforced screen 17 between the cellular plastic layers 16, and a comparatively rigid and strong lightweighted sidewall 12 is formed. A plastic jacket 23 is fitted to the peripheries of the sidewall 12 and the bottom wall 13 and provided with the upper and bottom boats formed through the tub wall 12 by tubular plastic fittings 30, 31 to be connected to water circulating means 32, water is circulated from the upper boat 30a in the interior 34 of the tub and water is extracted through a lower boat 31a by a pump 33. By the above configuration, a low-priced and lightweight heat insulating plastic bath tub is provided, which has remarkable convenience in use and transport.
