<p>PURPOSE:To edit a video image when a required video signal exists in the first interblock subject to video recording by driving a tape from a recording part of a synchronizing signal on a tape to an interlock in the reverse direction and recording the synchronizing signal onto the interblock. CONSTITUTION:The device is provided with a synchronizing signal generating circuit 12, a synchronizing signal recording circuit 13, a synchronizing signal reproduction circuit 14, a changeover circuit 15, a head 11, a motor 16, a motor drive circuit 17, a pitch management circuit 18, and a video muting circuit 102. In this case, a magnetic tape 19 is driven in the reverse direction from the recording part of the synchronizing signal to the interlock on the magnetic tape 19 and while keeping the continuity of the pitch of the synchronizing signals obtained by the synchronizing signal reproduction circuit 14 during the drive of the recording part, the synchronizing signal recording circuit 13 records the synchronizing signal onto the interblock, that is, the pat before the recording start point of the video. Thus, the tape from the recording start point of the video is able to be edited.</p> |
