<p>A mowing machine includes a supporting beam (2) having a plurality of mowing members (1). A housing (4) is connected rigidly to said supporting beam (2). Around the housing (4) there is arranged a further mowing member (16). The mowing members (1) are driven from a transmission box (12) over a drive shaft (18) extending through the housing (4) and overdrive means (9) accommodated in the supporting beam (2).
