PURPOSE:To approximately completely prevent the generation of temper colors in the implements for medical treatments consisting of an austenitic stainless steel by previously cladding the implements for medical treatments, thereby forming the implements as clad materials at the time of heat treating the above- mentioned implements by using a forced hot wind circulating furnace. CONSTITUTION:The implements for medical treatments consisting of the austenitic stainless steel, for example, stitching needles 1 molded to a prescribed curvilinear shape are housed in a cage-shaped container 2 made of a metal and are clad in a packaging material 3, such as aluminum foil to constitute the clad materials A. The clad materials A are mounted at prescribed intervals and prescribed postures on racks 6 in the hot wind furnace 4. Fluid (air, gaseous nitrogen, etc.) in the hot wind furnace 4 heated by heaters is forcibly fluidized in arrow a, b, c directions by fans 5, by which the temp. in the furnace is uniformized and the clad materials A are heat treated. The improvement in the bending strength of the stitching needles 1 is made in this way without generating the temper colors therein. |
