PURPOSE:To transmit pictures on the surface and the reverse simultaneously by loading an original only once, by arranging information of one line on the surface and the reverse of the original in a line approximately and by projecting these information onto a photoelectric transducer. CONSTITUTION:An original 1 is fed by a pair of feeding rollers 2. The original has the surface and the reverse illuminated by a light source, and the light reflected irregularly by the original 1 is reflected by mirrors 5, 6 and 7 and is projected onto a reading element 4 through a projection lens 3. On the reading element 4, one-line components of information on the surface of the original 1 are projected to the left half of the reading element 4, and one-line components of information on the reverse are projected to the right half of the reading element 4, and information of both lines are arranged in a line approximately and are projected simultaneously. The mirror 6 is inclined at 45 deg. for the original (the surface of paper), and one-line components of information of the original are projected onto the reading element through the mirror 7 by the projection lens. |
