PURPOSE:To stabilize laser output and light-deflecting degree, by closing a glass face plate, which controls light-deflecting surface in a rectilinear light-deflecting gas laser tube, with a projection which is provided in a closing pan in such a configuration as to form Brewster's angle, and then, by fixing it with a sticking agent. CONSTITUTION:A glass face plate 11, which controls light-deflecting surface, is inserted into a rectilinear light-deflecting laser tube. A glass face plate holding mechanism is closed at Brewster's angle by projections 21 and 22 located on two places in a closing pan 20, and both ends of the face plate are fixed by a sticking agent 13, such as, solder glass, etc. It is possible, by doing so, to eliminate such troubles as moving of the face plate, variation of output and occurrence of distortion and to obtain a laser output whose light-deflecting degree and output characteristics are stable. |
